Jessie F. McComb is an independent tourism and cultural industries consultant with nearly 15 years of experience in private sector development working with governments, communities, businesses and associations to develop sustainable livelihoods. Through a range of projects with varied donors and organizations, Jessie has gained experience in destination development and planning, business start-up and management, feasibility studies, strategy creation, and destination marketing. Additionally, she has experience in designing and managing multi-year projects with public, foundation and academic organizations and the private sector.
Jessie has worked on projects with The World Bank, USAID, European Union, ACP Secretariat, UNESCO, Travel Foundation, and Aga Khan Foundation, among others. She holds a Masters of Tourism Administration in Sustainable Destination Management from The George Washington University and a BA in Physics and Art History from Hamilton College.

She has specific expertise in tourism product development, operational and financial management, and marketing to FIT and package tourist market segments and in cultural and creative industries sector development at national and regional levels.
